I'm thinking more along the lines of a common ground somewhere, or maybe a sensor or switch is telling the ECU to keep them off.

Yeah... I spent a week checking and re-checking the specs out of the Bentley. Finally, I installed some used injectors and presto it worked! As a mechanic I would have sworn under oath previously that all four injectors would not go bad at once. ...just my experience and another lesson in my life.
