I fixed my oil leak this week... it turned out to be the 0.9 bar sensor!
Took me about four (4) hours like you said, but most of it was looking at
the problem, thinking about it and trying to access the parts.  Next time I
could do it in 1-2 hrs.


My adapter *did* come off with the part, which also took me a few minutes to
figure out.... however everything went well, and my leak was fixed.  Total
cost 11$ for parts at the local VW dealer.
