Jeff, Any capacitor of approximately 22 micro farad value with a voltage rating greater than twelve volts will work. Observe polarity.

Co-incidently, I thought my truck was experiencing the Vanagon syndrome last month. Same symptoms.Long story short, turned out to be a loose connection to the TEMPII sensor.
