I have the bus boys sender in my oil drain hole.  I just run the wire in
a protective sleeve and zip tie it to the muffler bracket.  It does not
dangle much.


My only problem with that setup is that the VDO sender unscrewed from
the oil drain hole insert so now I drain oil out of the small hole in
the insert and I have not found a suitable oil sealing washer for the
VDO sender. I now get a small oil drip...which is my only oil drip...I
wish I could say the same about my coolant...
