The vanagon has the medium level of tinting on it, and the eurovan I had (no longer own) had the pimpmobile tint.

The front windows in AZ can be tinted, but not enough so that you cant see in.

Most legit tint shops will not help you break the law in that regard.

If you see full black all around, it was done by someone 'on the side'

Shops dont like to be held accountable for this sort of thing.

I dont know about the CHP pulling over Zonies with tint. I've driven both vans to Cali, multiple times and have *never* been pulled over for window tint.

If the full car (front drivers/pass windows) are pitch black you might?

Privacy of the ultra dark stuff is nice, but I dont like it in Az as it does increase the temps inside the van by a few degrees, and also makes it really difficult to see out the back at night.

Now if you want to ride around with nekkid passengers in the back, then thats another story ;-)
