Paul,

You may have pinched a coolant line.

Additional information:

I just realized that my refrigerator is making a continuous high pitched, slightly unsteady tone. I didn't notice it until I got my head down inside it. It's kind of like the sound some plumbing makes. I suspect it's coming from the burner box. Does that give any clues as to why it's not cooling efficiently?

I have read all of Derek Drew's "Refer madness" but that doesn't seem to answer this. And remember that it was cooling much better up until I pulled it and cleaned the burner box.

My Dometic refrigerator generally has cooled decently, getting the interior down to 40-60, depending on the heat of the day.

However, it wasn't staying lit, so I pulled it and cleaned the burner box and so forth.

Now it's staying lit, but not cooling. It's 73 degrees inside, which is at most 20 degrees cooler than the outside temperature.

While I had it out, I turned it on it's side. Could that have screwed up the coolant? If so, is there anyway to restore it?

Thanks for any help
