At full blast the Norcold DC0040 uses 2.7 amps of current. That's not from Norcold but actually measured after mounted in the Westy. I'll be keeping notes on length of time in use during a seven day stay in the mountains next month but others report 2-4 days on a single Group 91 battery under the driver seat, 2-3 days on an Optima and the better part of a week on a 100 AH battery. I replaced my stock aux battery with a Group 31 (110 AH) AGM under the back seat. I paid $475 for the Norcold, NIB including shipping. Watch eBay.
