Yeah you can find this in Manila today. Minimum wage there is $5 per day. The gas jockeys are probably getting half that from that in reality. Gas prices are about the same as here. At the Chevron Station near my house, Self-serve is $3.46 today. Full serve, which just means they pump your gas, is at $3.99 (went as high as $4.25 earlier this month). Try that on a 30 gallon SUV tank.
