Thanks, Mike. I used a Dremel tool with a spiral saw attachment (now behaves like the RotoZip (registered trade mark)) tool. A cut like that requires that you clamp a straightedge to the face of the cabinet in various positions for the long straight cuts. I freehanded the corners by being VERY cautious. Touched up the finished cuts with a rasp and sandpaper and it was ready for the $20/quart custom-mixed matching grey paint. It could have turned out much worse, and that thought is unavoidable as you prepare to make the first cut.
