These items for pickup only so if you are not in the Puget Sound region you probably arn't interested. I've installed a different refrigerator in my '90 Westy and have two items that someone might be interested in. First a freebee. One Group 41 battery, lead acid. This was in use as my aux battery for several years. I've replaced it with a much larger battery under the rear seat. It will fit any Vanagon. I say free because I have no idea what condition it is in. It's been working fine but with some indication that it runs down a little faster than when new. Anyway, free to anyone that wants to pick it up here in Lynnwood.

Second is a newer model Dometic refigerator. This is the model that came in the '90-'91 Westfalias and has the almost automatic ignition system for the propane. Turn it to propane and a little red light starts to flash. Push one button (no pumping) and hold it until the red light quits blinking and you are done and running. The cooling system is working fine, cools great on 12v DC or 110 AC. And it normally lights just fine on propane. BUT, even though it stays lit it doesn't cool on propane. It's just not getting enough propane (not running hot enough) to circulate the coolant. It could be a clogged jet, it could be a problem with the thermostat control. Also the little fan in the back that circulates air needs to be replaced, an easy job. The fan motor on there now (a replacement that is to large) is very noisy. I was going to go with a muffin fan setup like GoWesty sells. Now I could take this into RV Mobile http://www.rvmobile.com/ just up the road from me and get it fixed. If I do that then the going price for a good Dometic has been running around $350. BUT, if you want to come and get it it's $125 to the first person that want's it.

Contact me directly at labusch@verizon.net or LL 425-771-3646 on either of these.
