three-way fridges suck for the most part and always must have the backside well vented, preferably to the outside of the van [read: big holes]...actually, the norcold uses all the space that was wasted behind the dometic, and has much MORE usable space inside...plus is stays cold ALL the time, not just whenever it feels like it which is often the case with the dometics. that 'wasted space' underneath can house a propex, battery charger, or turn it into hidden storage. cold beer in hundred-degree weather is really nice!
