As you hit the pavement this 4th weekend I hope none of you will hit the road like I did a week ago Saturday when my bicycle went down and skinned me alive.

I bruised the rotator cuff in my right shoulder and i am just barely able to use my right arm-and improvement of not being able to use it at all.

The injury and and weather (and more clogged fuel filters) slowed me down on my way back to Seattle so I am now only as far west as Parkersburg, West Virginia on US 50.

Because of the potential for more clogging, I decided to take US 50 west.

So far, so good. Speeds up to 65, little traffic, good road surface.

I am offering a free heavy duty filing cabinet that is about 3 feet tall and has a slide-out table on top. it weighs too much and so I am looking to lighten my load. I only paid $7.00 for it so if there are no takers along my route i am going to leave it somehwere with a free sign on it.
