FWIW - My wife used Goof-Off to remove old latex paint splatter from stained wood ceiling beams in our living room and kitchen. Worked great - it removed the splatter and did not appear to remove the stain. She tried not to let the Goof-Off soak into the wood - she just wiped at the splattered areas until the "bad" paint was removed. Only took a minute or so in each area. Markus in blazingly hot Pismo Beach (hit 98F at our house yesterday). |
