All the posts with dowels or pipe to stabilize the rear table leg have prompted me to point something out. For the '85 and newer Westies with the long closet doors ... if you put the front table and leg in the rear socket, the closet door can be opened with the table in the stowed position. I haven't tried this with an '84 or earlier style table but it would seem that those should work, too. Of course, the other method is to just cut the closet door and make the lower cut off part stationary. Mike |
