Yup. That is what I heard from the current dept head a few weeks ago. So, I went over to our neighborhood "Pop and Son" tire shop and they got what I needed. Unfortunately, as I drove in, I noted a "For Sale" sign in front of the shop. They can't afford to stay in business competing with Costco, Wal-Mart and Sears in this area. I was told, with apologies, that if they didn't list it in their catalog there that they couldn't get it, no special orders. Same for batteries (they had quit carrying the Group 41's). |
