Again, I had the chance to curiously look at a newer VW van/vehicle. Dunno the exact model and I again had little time to check it all out, but.. I was struck by how "plastic" looking it all was inside. Nice, but totally petroleum-based materials used for the interior finish..Some kinda sparkley-velour carpets and upholstery, gray unidentifiable cabinet material with a "747-look" "Make sure all loose and carry-on items are safely stowed____" The rear door/hatch was open and as I walked past, something seemed a bit strange....It finally dawned...under the bed was a huge storage compartment full of bike wheels and folding chairs...weird.. Would I want one? Well, I could re-sell it and get a couple of good vans and a subie/synchro with the cash...so I guess I'd take one, if anyone offers..Would I buy one outright? Hardly. Don Hanson
