Hmmm. This isn't very encouraging regarding the possibility of a "modern" replacement for my old Dometic. Doesn't sound like it would be worth all the remodel trouble.

Any other experienced opinions about a Norcold 3163?

Paul

Hmmm,

I've got a 1997 Eurovan Camper and the fridge is larger and quieter, but no less problematic running on propane than the Dometic. It runs on shore and battery power relatively well. Propane? Not so much. Lighting, staying lit, cooling. All very iffy.
