I think it's 5/8" ID, but it's been a long time since I last checked. And yes it's connected to a plastic fitting which has a cap on the outside for connection to a waste water drain hose (same threads as a garden hose or faucet cap). Don't try to "wiggle" the hose off or because of age, you WILL break the fitting. Cut the hose with a single edge razor at the fitting to "peel" it off the fitting - same advice to where it connects to the P-Trap.

See the picture of the fitting at the bottom right of photos at this link: http://www.deltasix.com/plumbing.html -- Jim Thompson 84 GL 1.9 "Gloria" 84 Westfalia 2.1 "Ole Putt" 73 K Ghia Coupe "Denise" 72 411 Station Wagon "Pug" oldvolkshome@gmail.com http://www.oldvolkshome.com *********************************** On 7/3/07, Mike Rocket J Squirrel Elliott <camping.elliott@gmail.com> wrote: > > Thanks, Troy. > > I promise to write about the trip when I come back (warning: those > uninterested my rambles set your mail filters to stun!) > > Does anyone know what the sink drain hose connects to at the bottom of > the cabinet?
