Why do car salesman always have to let you know they think you're a moron?

And granted in this ad they do it right at the top with the $67K price tag. But by the time you get all the way to the bottom, long after you've gotten over the $67K hurdle, and started get jazzed by the Recaro seats, the furnace, the batteries, the LP tanks, the sound system, the 175 hp engine, The 16" wheel arches, and so on, the ad says:

"Super cool matching RED MAGLITE flashlight, mounted"

You've gotta be kidding me, right?? Did you say "mounted"? How about you try to sell me a little harder. Promise me one of those evergreen air fresheners on the rear view?... You can? I'll take it.

That mag light is the last $9-at-Costco straw. I'm NOT buying it.

Does make you wonder if they installed Maglights in the Phaeton if they would have moved a few more. ;)

(and it's not lost on me that this bus is pretty cool--a little red for my taste--and by that I mean communist.)

Looks like I picked the wrong day to quit coffee.

Best, Jeff 83.5 Westy LA, CA
