Ben:

My last statement is only moderately stating some fact about China. Believe me I am absolutely certain that I know China better than you do. I completed a full package of education in Chinese, with a bachelor engineering degree. But that's not on the land of China. I completed a updated education in USA with an advanced degree. But I can't hide the fact English is the 3rd language I speak back in my parent's home.

I said I never set foot on China, that's because I did not want to. I had chances to go there, work there or even live in there. But I never had the interest in that. Simple. Only one reason. I value democracy. According to my family tree book (a real one passed to me from my parents) I am the 48th generation in the family tree. I believe I am the first one enjoy living in a democratic society. It's not perfect but it's great. I have seen life in a dictatorship society. I am fortunate to get away from it.

Well, until someday China moves in the right direction I may eventually change my mind to take a trip (without my vanagons of course) there. My family tree book is about one inch thick. It said one of the grand grand... grand pa was a high rank authority equivalent to the position of a defense secretary today. It also said they got a grant from one emperor to build a school equivalent to a university today. But it also said one of the family was completely eliminated (bi-headed) by an emperor because a grand... grad pa was found of carrying a dagger when he met the emperor. The family tree book is not in English or I could show you folks a copy of some pages.

I must have bored everyone by this far off topic stuff. Anyway, Nice to know you, Ben.

David
