Hi Greg.

I'm in a similar boat.

Although I haven't decided which engine to use, I have started with some of the changeover procedure. i.e. while in doing dash work I installed heater core.

I ended up padding the core with some leftover foam from fresh air box rebuild. I attached foam to plastic tanks of core to keep it from rattling around in housing. There was some play between core and housing.

There are other pics/video showing some of what's involved in removing dash etc.

Though I haven't made a specific engine choice, IMHO, I can say that they all have pro's and con's, depending on an individuals situation/needs.
