Subject: Advice on 82' GL
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed

I met someone today at Discount Tire who saw my bus and said he had one he wanted to sell. It is an 82' and from the pictures he sent seems to be in great shape inside and out. Air conditioned automatic.

The only problem I have is that it sat for a while - I don't remember how long but at least a couple fo years. It does run. I am not familiar at all with air cooled engines. So what are some things to be careful of with an air cooled that has sat for a while? Things to consider? I am hopng my friend will buy it but I also want him to be prepared. Sorry i don't have more info but that's it for now.

I will hopefully be seeing it in person tomorrow. If it looks as good in person as it does in pictures (and is in good mechanical shape) it could be a real steal.

Thanks ahead of time for any tips or advice and I'll let you know how things go.

-- Thanks,
