Mike,

Bring along a tank of oxygen and a face mask. Big forest fires between
Independence and Big Pine! 395 was briefly shut down last night but open
now, and 266(?) up to the Bristlecones is closed. Other than that, may I
suggest a nice tankard of Mammoth Brewing Company's excellent India Pale Ale
once you arrive, I'm sure it will cut the smoke residue.
