is the chrome grille emblem on your '88-'91 vanagon faded or worn off? then read this..

i was at my local u-pull it junkyard yesterday..and they had a '03 jetta wagon in there.. i popped the emblem out of the front grille and brought it home.. i held it against the stock '88-'91 vanagon grille emblem.. same size!! and the tabs are in the same place!

the cool thing about the mk4 emblem is that the emblem is "domed" and the chrome is more shiny..

the only "mod" u have to do, is cut slots behind the 3 tabs on the mk4 emblem like the vanagon emblem has.. so the tabs can flex to pop into the grille.. i used a fine blade coping saw or dremel or mat knife.. easy..took no more than 5 mins

gives the van a "new" look!!

chris
