I just laid a hardwood floor in my 90 Westy automatic. The flooring was easy, but the molding was tricky (because I'm "fussy.") I didn't want to butt the moulding on both sides of the edge molding between the stove and the cabinets, so I ended up making my own molding. I still have to nail in the molding and install the metal edging in the door area. I chose maple.

Now I'd like to build a small table and skin the larger tabletop with maple formica, but don't know where to find it. I'd also like to build a cup holder / console box that fits around the gear shift.

Mark, what will you do with the maple or cherry?
