OK made it to Fort Worth (600 miles). Except the exhaust leak got worse (louder) and now the engine will not idle. Fine on the highway but engine dies right down without my foot on the gas. Managed to 'heel and toe' but what a pain. I hope the lack of exhaust back pressure and maybe the OXS sender is screwing up the idle. Funny thing is mileage is better now- about 18MPG. I am going to the Ft Worth dealer's RV auction tomorrow to check out some large older class A motorhomes for my brothers car lot. If he buys one I may end up towing the syncro on a UHAUL flatbed back to Oceanside. A/C, fridge, bed, toilet, TV but only 8MPG if I'm lucky. Ryan |
