If it is a safety issue, there should be no time limit on dealer
recall repairs.
VWOA would not like a lawsuit if a van caught fire and killed the
occupants, especially if it is a known problem that they should have
fixed.
Keep pestering the dealer/head office until the problem is fixed if
you have an affected van.
