I love woodworking. I, too, may turn my Westy into a yacht, little by little. On the practical side, I'll use laminates when possible because I'm lazy and don't want to be worrying about nicks or scratches. I don't think I'll skin the rear seat panel, as I plan to make slip covers with ruffles or skirts for the seats. I got a cover for my dash. It's in great condition. The cover is to preserve it. Patti
