Hmmm. I went through this and a number of other problems with a recent, if not new, gowesty faucet. I ended up taking the faucet out and lubing it with silicone through some small hole I found with the knob removed from the top. Then, separately, I took the utility connection off the side of the camper and COMPLETELY disassembled the brass fittings until I got down to the stuck checkvalve (it's back there, not up at the faucet) for the city water. There is no checkvalve in the faucet. Everything is working properly since then. Jim
