If you order them on the internet, they are not too expensive. busdepot
has them quite cheap.
One thing to test is, put the flat bottom side of one lifter onto the
sides of the cylinder of another lifter. You should not see any gap.
Worn lifters have a concave bottom face, due to there slow rotation on
the cam lobes. These lobes are machined with a very slight slope, so
that he lifters rotate slowly and therefore get not worn too fast. This
is very cool and not driven by any mechanics, just geometry and
friction,. I like this specific design!
