>> "Car wash?" <<

I don't know about most Vanagon owners but here in the Northeast there is a complete lack of road salt to rust our vans during the summer. Sure, there's plenty of rain but that just doesn't do it. In order to keep the rust on its regular cycle we like to go to car washes where there is plenty of recycled salt, detergents and grease in the water being used. That high pressure hose allows us to force those chemicals into all the nooks and crannies on our vans. Plus they look great after the wash. :) :)
