Ok I know this may sound crazy but it may be worth checking.

I thought the city water inlet on my 81 Westy was leaking. As it turns out, it appears it was condensation dripping from the flue of my fridge. It just happened to drip on the water inlet making it look it was leaking.

Just a thought...
