I did the rock star thing for years and then changed my priorities to the
family life.  My pro bass gear was just sitting collecting dust.  I started
seeing other things when I looked at it; I wouldn't see a bass amp, I'd see
a new van to haul the chitlins around.  So I saw this 84 GL on CL here in
Bend, Oregon and contacted the guy about trading.  Turns out he's a
musician.  So I traded my dream amp, a 700 watt Trace Elliot AHSMX350 Head
and a 4x10 Mesa cabinet for it.  I'm convinced if the guy had cleaned it a
bit he'd have sold it so fast.  As it is, it's perfect for the family.  It
is missing the middle 2 seat-er bench and needs one seat belt for the rear
bench and a speedo cable.  That's it.  Oh yeah, and now I'm worried and it's
getting fuel lines.

Welcome!  Best of luck with your new arraignment.

Could you be more specific regarding the trade?  Many of us are
contemplating a reverse trade.  Photos of the musical equipment would be
great!
