Subject: Shifting issue Update........
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

Now I know things just don't go and fix themselves but something interesting has happened. I can now down shift from 4th into 3rd there is a very slight grinding noise, and I know this isn't right, but at least it's a drive able situation for the time being. It also grinds very slightly going from 2nd into 3rd and 3rd into 4th but it's tolerable until I get enough ambition to lug that sucker out and have it rebuilt. Why do you suppose it shifts now? I've checked the linkage and everything seems to be in order except for a torn rubber boot around the shifting lever at the tranny....... Thanx again Paul 85 WWW
