When taking my week-long camping vacation in the van each September, I
generally plan the route to take advantage of Oregon State parks and their
most excellent shower facilites, at least every 3 days.  Personally, I don't
need a shower every single day.  I have, on some occasions, camping in
summer, in a hot area (Oregon hot area = anything over 80 degrees) heated a
pan of water on the stove, and taken a cooling sponge bath in the privacy of
my own van.

I recently purchased the Outback Porta-privy, for use as a privy, not as a
shower enclosure.  It folds up into such a compact package.  Set up, that
thing is huge!  I think my granson will want to sleep in it, when we go
camping next weekend : )
