Thanks for the advice. I'll make sure the whole thing is replaced, even if
I have to pay for parts of it myself. Hopefully, if they accept Vanagons
for service, they'll be capable of doing this work and making the vehicle
safe. I'm sure I won't remember the details of what should be replaced, so
I'll print it out. I guess this would be a good time to take a look at my
Bentley.
In a previous post, someone mentioned something about asking for a special
("heavy duty") material to replace the fuel lines. I don't remember if you
have to specifically ask for it, or if that material is what is normally
used. Does anyone know what I'm referring to? (because I sure don't!) I'm
not familiar with this stuff at all.
