You just rip out the pushrod tube by whatever means - big screw driver etc.
But first you go buy a special type of push rod tube.
On reassembly you get a "spring loaded aftermarket push rod tube " designed
specifically for being able to install and remove with out removing the head
or damaging the push rod tube.
They're slick.

You will have to remove the pushrod tube in order to take the lifter out.
This may sound easy but removing a pushrod tube is very challenging to me.
It is very tight. It is impossible to compress it by hand to remove. Even if
you can remove it by any means it will become too loose when you put it
back.
Try to fill engine oil to the max on the oil dip stick. It gives you a
better
chance to pump pup the lifter. You can drain some oil afterwards if you
don't
like the oil to be at the max.
