Very helpfull as I am doing a similar modification and I'll be glad to read all that you can post, here, or on your blog. So please let me/us know when you have photos ready. I'm putting a German Reimo interior in my van and I decided to go with a top loading Waeco AC/DC compressor 50 litre fridge: ( http://www.waeco.com/en/252_484.php?PHPSESSID=3b068ea8db255cc0d2bc64096f06024d ). Over this past weekend, this fridge cycled on for about 5 or 6 minutes every 30 minutes with outside temps about 70 F (and was makinng ice inside, so it used about 1 amp per hour on average or 6 amps for 10 minutes each hour.) I also hope to put in a (about a 2 amp/hr) solar panel and Surepower unit & big amp battery under the rear seat & a battery moniter unit such as you have described. All of this with (I hope) Dave Etter's help! So your post was/is "spot-on". Thanks. Malcolm
