Geza, Your post reminds me a little of a guy winking at a girl in the dark. He knows what he's doing but no one else does. There are different configurations and locations in different models. Older passenger vans have the blower motors forward over the rear of the front seats while newer passenger vans have them aft. Then, of course, there are the Behr in-dash units.
I dropped the AC cabinet in my '85 Westy and replaced the motor without much difficulty. Newer model Westies have 2 separate motors. Mike
