Hello,

I'm thinking of picking up a camper vanagon, 81 aircooled cause that's my price range...

Does anyone have a prepurchase checklist?

How badly should I insist on a leakdown and/or compression test?

I'm looking for a running vehicle, although mechanically inclined, I have little time and no space to work on the bus.

I've looked at many sites and haven't seen a specific checklist yet.

Thanks so much.

Kai in Brooklyn.
