And now this coming from a "SINK" .....

Less kids? Maybe. But more kids would raise the odds of some genius sprouting out. He/she could solve the worlds CO2 and Methane etc. problems!

But I jest....

In terms of adding to my carbon foot print, I personally find it hard to justify ownership of a Westy. But, I could make some more changes in my life that would. i.e. Sell my Honda Accord. Move closer to work. Walk/cycle to work.

Simple things like washing laundry in cold water, air drying clothes, driving less, turning off your PC when not needed, CF bulbs, reduce water useage, ("yellow = mellow") can make a big diff if done by a majority. And for me, they help me justify the luxury of the Westy.

One other thing I'll do, is upgrade my Westy's engine. (yes I talk a lot, but will get to it eventually!) And I must say, the I4 gas is looking attractive. (your input/observations are appreciated Don) I can only assume it has less emissions than my 2L AC, but that is something easily researched. And if there was more ethanol blend available, that would help too. Currently I've only found 10% blends locally.

I have hope for our future and for the next generation. Motor homes aren't the only problem, but they do make me wonder "why?".

Neil.
