Yah I wondered if cig sockets might be "mickey mouse". Sounds like you've done er' up right!

But you've solved the potential problem no? With the single connector? Or did I misread your first post?

A switch came to mind also. To switch between panel and charger.

But I'm curious.

Will isolator block other inputs if "seeing" alternator input? I imagine not if there is only one wire to connect all input sources to.
