AFAIK Kennedy is the only comapny selling "heavy Duty" clutch pressure plates for the Vanagon. Different stages, different pressures.

In the Stock world there is basically Sachs and Luk. The luk has a slightly different cover design and a better "feel". It seams to be stronger clutch. The Sachs is sometimes reported to have more chatter problems. I have had problems with both. The stock clutch will usually last along time often needing replacement due to outside cuases. 100K is common. Abuse and oil leaks will kill any clutch.
