That might slide better. now...think up and down not side to side the long length of the vertical edge of the plastic screen frame is so close to the glass that it, scrapes it, you want it to, that gap, if wider will allow muskys in. so to keep it from scraping the window and making that...EEEeeeeEEEEeeeKKKKkeeeEE... 6 octaves up

you lift that edge of the plastic, away from the middle of the glass, you use the back of your fingernails as a surface against the glass, the other hand operates the sliding glass, you only just lift with the tips of your fingers, the glass slides against your fingernails...... no chems needed... only finesse. A picture would help... any photographers on the list?
