Subject: Re: 81 air cooled heat exchangers and engine tin

I picked up new heat exchangers from California Imports. They were of decent quality, but the glue that was used to adhere the fiberglass matting to the inside of the exchangers filled the van with a horrible stench every time I turned on the heat, even after several years of driving. I ultimately opened up the box and scraped out all of the glue.

Good luck, Jake 82 Westy
