Subject: Vacuum Pump A/c Manifold Recommendations?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=iso-8859-1

100% of my vehicles have a/c problems!

The syncro westie's hasn't worked well for years, and now the compressor is making a lot of noise. So I'm thinking its time to replace it and at the same time do the R-134A switch.

My off topic Mini Cooper S, subject to the rough roads around Washington, has smashed, leaking tubing -road damage- between the evap and condensor, and the dealer wants $1100 to replace it.

So I'm thinking its time to get the equipment to do it right. I see various kits for about $300 that include a proper vacuum pump and a manifold.

Anyone have specfic recommendations? Other alternatives? Thanks
