Yeah ... *sigh* ...

We do that with our shower. And with our grey water, as long as it's not completely manky. But only when we can't find a "better" place for it.

But ... imagine if many, many more people did the same thing.

So. I'm balancing being out in the world and so affecting it against being totally ecological in the world so my great-great-great-grandkids can go out into a world in as good a condition as I found it.

We (immigrants to this continent) don't seem to be doing very well at it. The First People's philosophy was, as I understand it, to not leave any trace of one's inhabitance. And looking at archeological evidence (namely, lack thereof), I think they had some pretty good habits!

On the third hand ... aaaargh! .... there are so many more of us humans in the same square miles of earth ... how can we help but affect it ...

(Don't even get me started on how we *so* *do* *not* belong colonizing the moon until we learn not to f*ck up the planet we're currently living on ... )
