I posted last night about an incident that turned out to be a non-issue, but that post has not arrived yet so I'm heading it off.

Turns out that the pushrod from the gas pedal to the bellcrank under the van popped out of the back of the pedal. Easily re-inserted, but not before I'd had a delightful and educational tour of the underside of the front of the van. While underneath I also ran wiring for a cyclocomputer that I'm planning to install.
