"And all this conversation has me thinking more than usual about going to 15" wheels on the next tire change and adding a Big Brake kit to the front."By my experience, you won't know the van you once had after putting those larger wheels and brakes on, especially the fronts. The trade-offs are interesting to me: larger wheels/tires really change and stabilize the ride .... and create an even greater requirement for larger, better stoppers. The van "goes" better and more stably with larger wheels, but that decreases stopping ability; adding the larger brakes up front does more than equalize that disparity and in fact even further enhances the ride, handling, safety and comfort over OEM wheels/brakes ... and that's not subjective, it's experiential. ......... then there's the further-confounding thread about spring rates, because once you "start-stopping" better, you'll notice an even greater front dip while under hard braking ... and the Syncro.org springs really do aid in reducing that anomaly.
