Just went to re-install the shelving under the sink after re-routing the sink drain hose so the stupid thing doesn't chew up so much space on the bottom shelf,* and have come to find that I've mislaid some of those little plastic dots with the nails in them that the shelves' sides rest on.** Anyone know where I can get three or four of these little puppies? Mine are brown, but any color will be fine. _____ * A piece of cake. Go to Ace Hardware and get a 1/2'' PVC elbow - the unthreaded kind for slip joints. Get a sprinkler riser or any other bit of irrigation fitting that has a 3/4'' hose barb on it. Get some epoxy. Remove the shelves. Disconnect the hose from the outlet at the bottom. Observe how much hose barb the hose needs for proper clamping. Cut yourself a chunk of the new hose barb that you bought and epoxy it into one end of the 1/2'' elbow so that enough sticks out to connect the hose to. Epoxy the other end of the elbow to the drain fitting at the bottom so that the barb points straight back toward the side of the van. Wait 24 hours for the epoxy to cure. Reconnect hose to new barb. Tighten clamp. Close off hose drain under van and fill sink with water. Check for leaks. Re-assemble everything. Note how much more room you now have under sink. Have a cold one to celebrate. It's all good. ** Remind me of this if I start sounding like I think I am smart. -- Mike "Rocket J Squirrel" Elliott 71 Type 2: the Wonderbus 84 Westfalia: Mellow Yellow ("The Electrical Banana") 74 Utility Trailer.
